I know I am behind, but if I don't do it now, I never will. Here is our Easter album

Richie's first Easter egg hunt at a play group.
Coloring eggs on Saturday.
What did the Easter Bunny bring Richie?
My brown-eyed-girl.
Family picture after our egg hunt. It was a sunny day and it looked nice, so we had our hunt outside. It was actually a little chilly, though, so we had to be quick.
Richie and Sophia playing
Sophia was so slippery she didn't stay propped up very well, but here is her Easter outfit. I bought it on clearance in December! I am so glad it fit.
She was watching her Dad demonstrate his Irish dancing. It looks like she is thinking "What is that crazy guy doing?"
We had a quiet Easter Sunday. The Easter Bunny didn't come to our house until after church and afternoon naps. I think that was very considerate of him because it didn't disrupt church and we were all well-rested. Actually, little Richie woke up from his nap a little cranky and was …

I have Easter pics to put up, but I will get to that later. I just wanted to put this song up because Richie is so cute.

Little Milestones

Sophia rolled over for the first time today! She rolled from her back to her tummy, but I was in the other room and totally missed it. I only stepped into the kitchen for a couple moments and when I came back there she was. I was so proud, and so disappointed at the same time. Is this how dads feel when they come home from work and get news of all the little things kids do while they are away?

Spring Break: Day 1

For our first day of Spring Break 2008, we decided to take a trip into New York City. Chrislynn and I wanted to visit the Manhattan Temple so we took turns watching the kids. We can't wait for Drew and Eryka to get back to New York so we can work out kid exchanges. It was a beautiful day in the city, and Richie had a blast playing in Central Park. We also walked down to the Apple Store and bought some RAM for our computer so Chrislynn can get to work on another family movie! Below are some pictures we took with our phones throughout the day!

Love and Laughs

When I was pregnant with Sophia, my doctor said that there is nothing like seeing the way your kids love each other. I am just starting to recognize this in my kids. Before having children I didn't really comprehend how much love I could feel for one little baby and then how it is multiplied the more you have. The love I feel for my kids is such a blessing, but the doctor was right, there is nothing like seeing a relationship form between my children and seeing the bond between them.

Sophia has the best smile and she is always so happy to see little Richie, in spite of the fact that he is usually smothering her with his hugs and kisses. I love to see how she smiles and laughs at him. She already loves him so much. And Richie can't seem to get enough of her; one kiss is never enough. He is always the first to say "I cuhmeen Sophia!" and run in to her crib when she is crying in the other room. He has also learned to expertly imitate her extremely high pitched …

Sophia is getting really good at tummy time, and every time I put her down, Richie likes to show me how good he is at tummy time too.
