Utah, Here We Come!

We are safely in Blanding with my family and are having fun meeting cousins and spending time with Grandpa and Grandma, but we already miss Daddy. I was nervous to make the trip to Utah alone with the kids, but actually it was not bad. Dad stayed with us in the airport until the last possible minute and that was great.

The hardest part of the day was getting from the security checkpoint to the plane and then from the plane to baggage claim. At security Richie got really sad when I took his shoes off. He cried from when I took them off to when I put them back on, I think he may have thought he was not going to get them back. I didn't have a stroller, so I was carrying Sophia and a couple heavy carry-ons and a portable DVD player and holding Richie's hand. It was a bit of a challenge, but we made it safely onto the plane and it was not a full flight so we had a row all to ourselves. The kids were fantastic on the plane.
