Sophia's first day of preschool

When little Richie started school a year and a half ago, Sophia was very jealous and she has been asking when she will get to start school ever since.  She won't start kindergarten until 2013 and that is a long time for a little one to wait and we have wanted to get her into preschool, but it just didn't work into our budget.  We also didn't know where to start as far as choosing a school, and when we started looking at places, most of them are already full (no surprise) and are pretty pricey.  Then we were talking to some friends in our ward and they suggested calling Melody Lane Preschool, because her mom runs it and we could probably get in right now.  We got Sophia signed up immediately and she went to her first day on Thursday.  She was beyond thrilled to finally go to school!  She picked her favorite dress and was so excited to get to use her backpack.  As soon as she came home she started asking when she gets to go again.  On Tuesday she gets to have a Valentine's party and she was already excited about Valentine's Day, but now she is extra excited.  I think she is going to really love school!
