Josie's baby blessing was on Sunday and we were lucky to have a lot of family come to share her special day. Most of my family had to head back home right after Sacrament Meeting and the kids had practice for the primary program, so we didn't do anything special after, but we were able to get everyone to hold still and look into the sunlight for a picture (well, my nephew Gavin hates pictures, so he is not in it, but we got everyone else). Aside from having our eyes half closed, I think it turned out nicely, and I don't know how, but we all kind of coordinate with each other and the beautiful fall colors.
This is as good as it gets.
Richie gave Josie a beautiful blessing and it was a lovely occasion. It was nice to have everyone visit, even if it was a short visit. We are blessed to have a wonderful, supportive family.
Here are some close up shots of the dress and head band that I made. I have been looking at this dress for months, ever since I finished it, and I am glad she finally got to wear it. It is quite a lot of dress, but it was really beautiful. Little Richie thought it was pretty funny that it is so big and big Richie likes to tease me that the older girls could wear it because it is so long. I think she looks gorgeous in it and I am glad that all my hard work was worth it.
